The Ring We Might Have Made for Viggo.

It is a statement of record that for the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings movie trilogy we made the One Ring in all its appearances, Frodo Baggins’ silver necklace chain and Vilya, ring of Elrond.

We did not make any of the other so called ‘rings of power’ and jewellery in the movie. For legal reasons we cannot use the actual name of the ring worn by the character played by Viggo Mortensen. We call it the Ring for Viggo. It is not licensed merchandise.

We have created our own interpretation of this ring based on descriptions of this ring given in the book.It was originally madein 18ct white gold, accompanied with 18ct yellow gold vinesand set with a hexagon cut Biron Emerald and natural round cut Emeralds for the eyes.
