An Italian version of the coveted French love token charm, designed by French designer Alphonse Augis, inspired by a line from an early 20th century love poem by Rosemonde Gerard. A rebus of sorts with the combination of text and a plus and minus symbol translating to “More than yesterday, less than tomorrow”
Details:Approximately 1 1/8″ in diameter. Set with a natural single-cut diamond in the plus sign, and synthetic rubies in the minus. Marked for 18k on the back, with Italian hallmarks indicating manufacture pre-1968 by manufacturing jewelers Unoaerre. Weighs approximately 6.5 grams.
Condition: In excellent condition with a slight patina and a couple of light marks.
